Proverbs 31:10 asks a question, Who can find a virtuous woman? We have found one, and her name is Donna Prothro, but virtuous is only one of her few great traits. She is patient, loving, and consoling, and she has hands that heal. She is a 40 plus year career nurse, and
as a registered nurse at Dekalb Medical, First Lady ministers, through medicinal form, to patients who are battling cancer. Her delicate care soothes the natural part of the patient and consoles the spirit side as well.
She is Apostle James Prothro's wife, and she has four lovely children who love and adore her; Precious, Chrissy, Mishae, Sir James.
First Lady Prothro is a very open-hearted woman and gladly accepts the role of mother for all those who are in need. She is involved in several aspects of the ministry at Free Gospel; Supervisor of Auxiliaries, President of the Women's Ministry, President of the Sunday School, a member of the Altar Guild, and an FGIC minister. She LOVES reading the word and sharing biblical stories and principles with others. She is a great example of a spiritual woman and encourages all women to look ahead and hold their heads up.
One of her favorite scriptures is Luke 11:2-4:
2) And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.
3) Give us day by day our daily bread.
4) And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.

Pastor Keith Maurice Thomas was born in Reidsville, NC, the ninth child of Jasper and Elizabeth Thomas. Growing up in a small town and attending the public schools in the area, Keith looked forward to the time that he could broaden his horizons and see the world. Therefore upon graduation from high school, Keith left Reidsville and joined the United States Navy where he traveled to many places, and met many new people; but most importantly it was while serving in the military that Keith was introduced to Jesus Christ. His life has never been the same.
Possessing a love for singing, Pastor Thomas felt that the Lord would use him in that capacity only. However, upon leaving the Navy and moving to Atlanta, Keith was invited to the Free Gospel Interdenominational Church. It was at a New Year’s service in 1986 that Keith joined the Free Gospel Interdenominational Church and under the teachings of then, Elder Prothro, he began to discover that the Lord had a calling upon his life to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He joined the Ministerial Alliance of Free Gospel and has grown and developed under the tutelage of Apostle Prothro since.
A devoted husband to his wife and best friend, LaShawn, and father of three lovely girls, Taylor, Kayla, and Justice, Pastor Thomas’ ministry continues to evolve. In January of 2005, he was ordained into the office of Prophet. The Lord uses Prophet Thomas to touch many at the Free Gospel Church through teaching, preaching, counseling, and exhortation. The Lord also uses his gifts to be a blessing to many of those confined in the Fulton County Jail, where he serves as a chaplain.
Born the eldest of 14 children in St. Lucia, West Indies, to Mr. & Mrs. Nicole Smith, Pastor A. Egerton attended Monropeo Combined School for her early and secondary education and later studied Pre-Med at Essex County College. She is married to Mr. WinStanley Egerton. They are the parents of four children, twenty-one grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
After relocating to Orange, N.J., she received Christ as her personal Savior and became a member of Faith Temple Original Freewill Baptist Church under the leadership of Bishop L.N Forbes and was employed as a CS/OR Technician at St. Barnabas Hospital. In 1985, Pastor Egerton and her family moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where she joined the House of God Freewill Baptist Church under the leadership of Bishop A.C Speakman, where she served diligently on the Missionary Board and was an ordained church mother. In October 1989, Pastor Egerton delivered her trial sermon entitled, “Let the Lord Fight Your Battle.” It was full steam ahead as she remained persistently faithful in winning souls for the Lord from that moment forward. Being a part of the Freewill Baptist, Pastor Egerton was the first female to hold the of ice of the Freewill Baptist Union.
Her powerful potential in Christ manifested itself in 1993 when God gave Pastor Egerton the Vision for Faith Hope and Deliverance Temple located at 759 Joseph E. Boone Blvd., N.W. in Atlanta, Georgia (formally Simpson Street). In addition to shepherding God’s flock, she also balances the duties of wife, mother, and grandmother, but in all things, she puts the church first!
Pastor Egerton has not only been a fisher of men but has displayed her passion for the homeless for more than twenty years by feeding them in the Vine City /English Avenue area of Atlanta. She truly lives and believes in Matthew Chapter 25. In addition to feeding the homeless, she also ensures that they receive clothes, blankets, and food boxes. The Lord has blessed the Pastor to give shelter to women and children through “A HAND UP MINISTRIES,” a ministry designed to assist them with jobs readiness and placement, obtaining residency, and reconnecting them with their families. Pastor Egerton and the members of Faith Hope And Deliverance Temple have now merged with Free Gospel Interdenominational Church under the leadership of Apostle Prothro.
